About the project
Through my work with Ship O’Hoi, I collaborated on the rebranding of their visual identity and successfully integrated this new brand across their digital platform, enhancing the user experience and visual appeal. Additionally, I developed an administrative dashboard tailored to marina users, streamlining operational processes.
The goal was to create a cohesive and engaging brand experience that not only reflected Ship O’Hoi’s core values but also simplified daily tasks for marina staff, ensuring that the rebrand added tangible value for both users and administrators.
Create a new brand design for Ship O´Hoi
Implement new brand in existing app
Create a Marina Dashboard
Goal
We have based the design on navigation and a compass as elements in the logo and details in the app’s navigation. Strong contrasts in the app are particularly important since it’s used in sea spray and sunlight. Experiencing life at sea should be simple, achievable with just a few taps.
Takeaways & reflections
Working on Ship O'Hoi’s rebranding project offered valuable insights into shaping a brand’s digital identity from the ground up. Redesigning the app with a refreshed visual identity, we focused on creating a user-friendly interface that was both visually appealing and functionally intuitive. Implementing a new dashboard for marinas also highlighted the importance of efficient design in administrative tools—each feature tailored to streamline daily operations. This experience reinforced the importance of aligning design decisions closely with user needs, resulting in an adaptable, cohesive brand presence.
